Web Development, Management and Design

Examples of Work

For Coexist Creative, I managed the buildout and completed all front-end development of a full relaunch of chutegerdeman.com. The site uses advanced javascript techniques to create a fun and interactive homepage experience while allowing the client to feature its projects using a variety of media and a custom CMS. The site is 100% iPad ready, not relying at all on flash for any animation or media delivery.

At Congregation Agudas Achim, I designed, developed and deployed a complete redesign of their website in Wordpress, allowing them total control over their site.

At TV1.com, I was in charge of UX development and content management for the extensive RoR-based site; I managed the implementation of cross-browser effective AJAX functionality for creating, managing and playing playlists of video links; I created and maintained all css and html for the site; I worked with a Rails guru via Tortoise SVN to maintain a continuously evolving, always functional site; I integrated flash animations, video and javascript functionality; I established and maintained back-end protocols for content producers.

As a quality assurance expert at John Wiley and Sons I grew acquainted with Mantis bug tracker, as well as the Java Eclipse IDE; I created pages using CSS sprites, javascript-enabled slideshows, and dynamically generated content.

I worked as web site manager for Progressive Source Communications and Art Yarns, where I was onsite web manager, creating and managing .asp pages, javascript functionality, flash animations, interactive image creation, and plain html based web-pages.

I created a microsite for YAC, a California non-profit, advertizing an upcoming event, with a fully personalized PHP-validated form.

For Dr. Eran Feit I designed and implemented a fully personalized site to promote his growing practice.
